Vintage duck wood sewing box. 2 drawers with old sewing notions and scissors. Wings are pin cushions. Pegs for thread spools and thimbles.
14” high to the top of the scissors. Base is 8 ½” x 7 ½”.
All joints are tight. Drawers slide easily. In exceptionally nice condition for its age.
There are a few nicks but to be expected in a piece this old. This belonged to my cousin’s mother. My cousin is 79 years old. I would imagine this is from the 1940s or ‘50s.
