PREVIOUSLY OWNED, FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES, BRIGHT RED, WHITE, & BLUE ENAMEL. GOLD TONE WITH THEIR EAGLE LOGO, HAS SOME SCRATCHING AROUND GOLD TRIM FROM NORMAL HANDLING, MEASURES 3.25" X 2.25". COMES AS PICTURED.

The FOE was founded on February 6, 1898 in Seattle, Washington, by a group of six theater owners. They were competitors who had come together to discuss a musicians strike. After deciding to "Bury the Hatchet," they joined forces to become "The Order of Good Things."Originally, all members were engaged in one way or another to the performing arts. Early meetings of the group were held on local theater stages, after taking care of business, the attendees brought out a keg of beer & enjoyed social time. As members grew, they selected the bald eagle as the official logo & changed their name to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles" The Eagles grew much larger & claims credit for establishing The Mothers Day holiday in the United States.

Liberty Pawn & Gold is owned and operated by Dave and Tammy Munsee. Dave is from Richmond and Tammy was born in Fredericksburg, VA. They have been married for 35 years and have a son that attended Fredericksburg Christian School, Riverbend High School and recently graduated from West Virginia University. The Munsee's are members of the Fredericksburg Rod and Gun Club and are active volunteers and participants in the community.
