    Not a book about doing your assistant's mascara and lipstick.  No, this is a book about the "make-up" of magical props -- their decoration and even construction.  If you are handy with tools and have an artistic flair, there is TONS of useful info in this book.  If you are not either of those things (like me), and there is no hope that you will build or custom deco your props, this book is still a fascinating read -- one of the more unique magic books I have ever read.
