NIKON LEATHER SLIP-ON FRONT LENS COVER FOR SUPER TELEPHOTO LENS

You are bidding on a Nikon leather slip-on soft lens cover, likely for their 300mm f/2.8, and 200, f/2.0 lenses.
This is a pretty old cover because it's actually made of leather rather than faux leather like the later ones. Nikon didn't put a part number on these things, so I'm not sure what it came with originally, but it fits the lenses listed above.
The inside of the cover measures about 5 1/2" (about 140mm) across and 3 1/2" deep. The outer part is a soft leather with some wear and the inside is the usual deep burgundy colored fabric that Nikon used to line their lens covers and hard trunk cases.
