Knights of the Golden Eagle Medal - Akron, Pa. Castle No. 479

Description

Knights of the Golden Eagle medal. Made by Wm. H. Horstmann, Badge Manufactures, Philadelphia. I believe this dates to the 1890s. In good condition with some fading on the front ribbons, rust on the enameled badge. Also, the rust stained the ribbon, through lengthy storage, under the badge itself. There is some lettering on the back of the pin device, but I can't make it out. The black ribbon and bottom braid look great. Nice colors remain on the flags.
