Up for sale is a
Beautiful Antique Thread and Notions Hinged Cabinet.  This is a very rare find in this original condition.   I cleaned it with a light soap, but it needs a very good cleaning.  This piece is amazing and would be great for use today as a gift for a seamstress or quilter.  The left side holds a pin cushion, which measures
13” Long x 2.5” Wide.  The cranberry satin material is in good condition with color fading, but no holes or tears.  Just below the pin cushion is a small shelf which folds up with a locking arm measuring 13” L x 6” W. Below that is a wooden pocket for holding patterns, tracing paper, needles and other notions.
The right side has 21 pegs for holding various sizes of thread.  Again below that is a wooden pocket for notions.
There some issues that could be addressed that would restore this piece, I wanted to refinish it, but I have to let go of some larger projects.
The feet need some TLC see picture #7.
Includes all contents as shown - thread, old wood thread spools.  This is the only thread caddy I have ever seen with the pin cushion and shelf in tact!
Dimensions are 25” tall without feet, 30” with feet. When it is closed, it measures 15” wide and 3” deep.
