Antique R & B Arranbee Nancy Doll in Pink Dress with Wrist Tag 13" Tag c. 1930

Up for auction is a R & B Nancy Doll in Pink Dress with Wrist Tag, Arranbee Doll Company. The Nancy doll is a 13” (stamped on back) composition doll with dark reddish brown hair in its original set with the original hair pins still on both sides of her hair. She is dressed in a dress with a pink satin top with pink and blue flower print design and a pink organdy skirt. There is a row of lace around the neckline of the dress with a row of pink ribbon below the lace. The same pink trim is around the edge of the sleeves. The skirt is trimmed on the bottom with the same lace that is around the neckline. She is wearing a hat made of the same pink flower print design material as the bodice of the dress and is carrying a large purse made of the same material with a bouquet of flowers in the fold of the purse. The hat is tied with a pink ribbon that matches the pink ribbon in the center of her waist. The same pink ribbon is on both of her wrists and is attached to the skirt and pulls the skirt out from the body of the doll. There is a flower bouquet tied with the same pink ribbon at the bottom right-hand side of the dress. There is a "Nancy R and B Quality Doll" tag pinned to the skirt on the right-hand side near her waist. She has a gold tag on her right arm that says "This Doll Has A Human Hair Wig". She is wearing a beige hoop skirt trimmed in lace and matching bloomers trimmed with lace. She has on white socks and pink side snap shoes. There are very little if any discoloration of her skin.
I see a few brown spots on the back of her dress and to dots on the back of her bonnet. Also, some light brown on the top and back of hat.
I see a tiny line on the back of one arm which I wouldn’t even call a crack.
She is in just very nice shape. The doll is a beautiful example of a compo Nancy doll with great composition and a beautiful outfit. She has all of her eyelashes and her eyes are in good condition. Dress could be streamed at bottom to reshape.
