Original 1902 New Year's 1902-1903 specially printed government postcard sent from John F. Warren of Tuscaloosa Alabama to prominent Alabama Baptist minister Rev. L. O. Dawson, then also of Tuscaloosa Alabama. Dawson later moved to Birmingham where he became a faculty member at Howard College (now Samford University) and also prominent longtime preacher at Birmingham's famed Dawson Memorial Baptist Church (named in Rev. Dawson's memory).
Standard sized postcard. One can barely make out the Tuscaloosa 1902 postmark.
On 7 Oct 2019 I couldn't find any other listing for this postcard on ebay.
corners lightly bumped; offset from a carbon copy letter (with which this card was stacked for many years) covers the verso (Mailing side) of postcard. NEAR VG & quite sound
(Starting 18 March 2020 - though I'm social distancing myself and have absolutely no symptoms - I will rub [until dry] a fresh dollop of rubbing alcohol into my hands immediately before picking your items from my shelves and packing them - and again when I mail them).
